What is Package Forwarding?

Package forwarding is a service that allows international shoppers to buy products from U.S. stores that either don’t ship abroad or aren’t available in their home country.

With Braziliana, you receive a personal U.S. shipping address with your unique ID called “suite number”, where you can have your purchases from any American website or any website that delivers to the U.S. delivered to us. Each time a package arrives, our team:

  1. Opens the box
  2. Inspects the items
  3. Adds them to your Suite with photos, weight, quantity, and any relevant notes
  4. Sends you an email notification so you can track everything

You have up to 30 days to complete your shopping and request shipment free of any extra charge. Once your shipment is paid, we consolidate, repackage, and ship your products directly to your country.

This service is perfect for:

  1. Shopping from U.S. stores that don’t ship internationally
  2. Buying products not available in your country
  3. Getting access to better prices or exclusive items and offers
  4. Saving on international shipping by consolidating purchases

In short: You shop in the U.S. — we handle the international delivery.

How Does Package Forwarding Work?

How Does Package Forwarding Work?

Package forwarding allows international customers to shop freely from U.S. websites or any other website that ships to the U.S. and ship their purchases to Braziliana’s address. We don’t interfere in your shopping; we simply handle the logistics that follow.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You shop on any U.S. website or any website that delivers to the U.S. and ship your orders to your personal Braziliana address.
  2. When your packages arrive at our warehouse, we register them in your Suite within 4 to 7 business days. Each entry includes:
    1. Product description
    2. Supplier/store name
    3. Weight and quantity
    4. Photos and any relevant notes
    5. An email notification for each received item
  3. Your products are stored for free for up to 30 days, giving you time to consolidate multiple purchases into a single shipment.
  4. From day 31 to day 40, a daily storage fee of US$5 per day applies.
  5. If no shipment is requested by the 41st day, the items are considered abandoned and will be discarded by us.

This process ensures a smooth, flexible, and transparent experience for international shoppers.

FAQ - Braziliana
When you create an account with us, you automatically receive a unique ID called a Suite Number. This number allows you to shop on any U.S. website or any other website that delivers to the U.S. and use our warehouse address as your shipping destination. Once your package arrives at our facility, it is:
  • Registered in your account
  • Listed with product details (where it came from, weight, quantity) and photos
  • Ready for you to request shipment and pay the service fee
You get 30 days of free storage for each item. After the 30th day, a $5 daily storage fee applies. If your package is not shipped by the 41st day, it will be marked as abandoned and removed from your account.

Braziliana uses its own certified carrier in the United States to provide door-to-door delivery to Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. All other countries are shipped via UPS. All orders are shipped via air transport directly from our U.S. headquarters. As soon as the shipping label is generated, you'll receive a tracking number so you can monitor your package every step of the way.
Yes, there is always a possibility of import taxes being charged — this depends on the rules and regulations of your country. At Braziliana, we offer freight forwarding services only and do not interfere with customs decisions. It is the customer’s responsibility to know the import laws and tax procedures applicable in their country. For shipments to Brazil, all packages are subject to:
  • 60% federal import tax on the total value of the product + shipping cost + Insurance (if purchased)
  • 20% ICMS (state tax), applied after the federal tax
These taxes are collected by the Receita Federal during the customs clearance process and are paid directly inside Brazilian Post Office (Correios) official website thru the customers portal under “Minhas Importacoes”.
Yes! Our support team is available to assist you throughout the entire customs declaration process, if needed. After your products are registered in your Suite, simply go to your cart and fill out the value declaration fields to request shipping. Once submitted, we generate an "Invoice" containing the order details. At this stage, you can:
  • Edit product names for accurate customs declaration
  • Update the delivery address, if necessary
  • Dispute the invoice, explaining any discrepancies so our team can review
For best results, we recommend using the following format when declaring each item:
Brand – Product Description – Variants (size, color, scent, etc.)
Example: Nike – Running Shoes – Size 8, Black
After finalizing your invoice, our team will prepare your shipping label and begin the shipping process.
Yes! Braziliana is committed to providing a safe and reliable experience from start to finish. We offer:

We prepare shipment requests in the order of confirmed payment. Once your package is packed and shipped, UPS delivery typically takes 5 to 10 days, depending on your country of residence. However, some factors may impact delivery times, such as:
  • Routing logistics
  • Customs inspections
  • Delays from local regulatory agencies
You’ll receive a tracking number to follow your shipment in real time, and our support team is always available to help with any updates or questions along the way.
Yes! All products registered in your Suite are available for selection, allowing you to choose when and what to ship by simply checking the check box of each product. We package items according to the order and timing of your purchases. If multiple orders arrive within the shipping window, they can be shipped together in the same shipment (as long as they fit within the size and weight limits). Important shipping limits: Maximum weight per box: Each Country has its own weight limits and size permissions. If your total exceeds this, the shipment must be split into multiple boxes, and additional service fees may apply. This system gives you full control over your shipments while keeping them within safe and allowed dimensions.
If your shipment is insured, you will be reimbursed with credit on the website, based on the declared value of the product. Please note:
  • Insurance only covers theft or loss of the package during transit
  • The coverage is limited to the product’s declared value
  • Shipping and service fee costs are not included in the reimbursement
The insurance does not apply in the following cases:
  • Abandoned goods (due to non-payment, expired storage, etc.)
  • Retention by the Federal Revenue Service for inspection
  • Refusal or failure of nationalization by customs or regulatory agencies
  • Failure to pay import taxes
Our team is always here to assist and guide you through the process if anything unexpected occurs.
We accept payments in U.S. dollars (USD) by credit or debit card. All transactions are processed through secure and encrypted platforms, ensuring your payment is safe with us.
There are certain prohibited and restricted items that cannot be shipped through Braziliana or our carrier partners, including UPS. These restrictions are in place for safety, legal, and customs compliance reasons. Examples of prohibited items include:
  • Firearms, ammunition, and weapon replicas
  • Explosives and flammable materials
  • Prescription drugs and controlled substances
  • Alcohol and tobacco products
  • Perishable foods or biological materials
  • Cash, coins, or other forms of currency
  • Counterfeit items or items that infringe on intellectual property
  • Lithium batteries (unless properly packaged and declared)
For the full list of restricted and prohibited items by UPS, refer to their official guidelines: UPS Prohibited and Restricted Items. Additionally, Brazilian authorities such as Receita Federal, Anvisa, MAPA, and Ibama may block the entry of items that are restricted or not properly declared. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the items comply with local import laws. If you’re unsure about a specific product, our support team is here to help you check before you buy.
Once your package is shipped, you’ll receive a UPS tracking number via email and in your Braziliana dashboard. This allows you to monitor your shipment in real time. To track your order:
  1. Go to the UPS tracking page: https://www.ups.com/track
  2. Enter your tracking number in the search field
  3. Click “Track”
You’ll see detailed updates on your package’s location, status, and estimated delivery date. Our support team is always available to help if you have trouble locating your tracking information or understanding the delivery status.
Once your shipment is paid, the packing process begins immediately. If you wish to cancel the shipment in order to add more items, divide it into multiple boxes, or make any changes, a handling fee of US$50 per box will apply. This fee covers the labor, materials, and processing already performed during the packing stage. If you're unsure about your shipment or still expecting items, we recommend waiting until all purchases arrive before requesting shipping.
