What is Package Forwarding?

Package forwarding is a service that allows international shoppers to buy products from U.S. stores that either don’t ship abroad or aren’t available in their home country.

With Braziliana, you receive a personal U.S. shipping address with your unique ID called “suite number”, where you can have your purchases from any American website or any website that delivers to the U.S. delivered to us. Each time a package arrives, our team:

  1. Opens the box
  2. Inspects the items
  3. Adds them to your Suite with photos, weight, quantity, and any relevant notes
  4. Sends you an email notification so you can track everything

You have up to 30 days to complete your shopping and request shipment free of any extra charge. Once your shipment is paid, we consolidate, repackage, and ship your products directly to your country.

This service is perfect for:

  1. Shopping from U.S. stores that don’t ship internationally
  2. Buying products not available in your country
  3. Getting access to better prices or exclusive items and offers
  4. Saving on international shipping by consolidating purchases

In short: You shop in the U.S. — we handle the international delivery.

How Does Package Forwarding Work?

How Does Package Forwarding Work?

Package forwarding allows international customers to shop freely from U.S. websites or any other website that ships to the U.S. and ship their purchases to Braziliana’s address. We don’t interfere in your shopping; we simply handle the logistics that follow.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You shop on any U.S. website or any website that delivers to the U.S. and ship your orders to your personal Braziliana address.
  2. When your packages arrive at our warehouse, we register them in your Suite within 4 to 7 business days. Each entry includes:
    1. Product description
    2. Supplier/store name
    3. Weight and quantity
    4. Photos and any relevant notes
    5. An email notification for each received item
  3. Your products are stored for free for up to 30 days, giving you time to consolidate multiple purchases into a single shipment.
  4. From day 31 to day 40, a daily storage fee of US$5 per day applies.
  5. If no shipment is requested by the 41st day, the items are considered abandoned and will be discarded by us.

This process ensures a smooth, flexible, and transparent experience for international shoppers.

FAQ - Braziliana
When you create an account on our website, you automatically receive a unique ID called a Suite Number and gain access to our delivery address in the United States.

Think of the Suite Number as your "apartment" within Braziliana: it allows you to shop on any U.S. website (or any store that delivers to the U.S.) and send your purchases directly to our headquarters.

When Your Purchases Arrive At Braziliana:
As soon as your packages are received here, they are registered in your account/suite within 4 business days, with the following information:
  • Brief product description (to facilitate identification when you receive the invoice and need to organize your customs declaration)
  • Weight
  • Quantity
  • Photo
Storage:
You have 30 days of free storage per item. From the 31st day onwards, if the Forwarding service has not been paid, a monthly storage fee will be charged. This monthly fee corresponds to the standard value of our service, which is US$ 39 per kg.

Example: If your purchase totals 10 kg, you will be responsible for: 10 kg of service fee + 10 kg of storage fee for the overdue month.

Abandonment Policy:
From the 41st day, products are considered abandoned, and Braziliana reserves the right to discard, donate, or sell the items.
Yes! You can shop whenever you want and send your purchases to Braziliana — we take care of the rest of the process.

At the checkout of the store where you are shopping, use the Braziliana headquarters address and include your Suite Number exactly as it appears on your account dashboard.

Important: Fill in the details exactly as instructed in the dashboard to ensure correct receipt and processing of your order. Once the package arrives, it will be received and processed normally.
Braziliana offers free shipping to any country and charges a standard service fee of US$ 39 per kg of product. This fee also applies to deliveries within the United States when requested.
Braziliana performs air shipments directly from our headquarters in North Carolina, United States.
  • Brazil: Shipments are made by Braziliana Global, the private carrier of the Braziliana group. We have our own contract with the Brazilian Post Office (Correios), ensuring door-to-door delivery.
  • Other Countries and U.S. Domestic Shipments: Shipments are performed via UPS.
As soon as the shipping label is generated, you will receive a tracking code by email and WhatsApp to follow your package at every stage of the process.
Yes! — There is always a possibility of import tax charges, as this depends on the laws and regulations of the destination country and the decisions of the customs authority.

Brazil – There Will Always Be Tax Charges!
For shipments to Brazil, Braziliana has a structured operation and partnership/contract with the Post Office, so we know the rules and guide our customers on the process and payment method of taxes when applicable.

In Brazil:
  • Import Tax (Federal): 60% on the total value (product + shipping + insurance, if purchased)
  • ICMS (State): Up to 20%, calculated after the federal tax
These values are determined during customs inspection and, when the payment slip is released, payment is made directly on the official Post Office portal, in the customer area, under "My Imports" (Minhas Importações).

The tax payment period is 20 calendar days. It is extremely important to stay alert to the deadline, because if you lose the box, it takes at least 12 months to return to the United States.

Other Countries (Customer Responsibility):
For shipments to other countries, Braziliana performs the transport but does not control or interfere with local customs decisions. In these cases, it is the customer's responsibility to know the import laws, limits, restrictions, and possible taxes of their country of residence/destination.

Important: Braziliana acts as a freight forwarder/international logistics agent and has no authority to reduce, exempt, or avoid customs charges.
Yes! Our support team can guide you through the customs declaration process, always based on the recommendations and best practices published by official bodies (such as the Federal Revenue Service).

How It Works In Practice:
When you receive your invoice by email for confirmation, simply:
  1. Adjust, if necessary, all your personal information (delivery address, Tax ID/CPF, etc.), the description of each product in your order, and unit values (in dollars) or confirm if everything is correct.
  2. If you cannot adjust any information, simply DISPUTE your invoice and our team will help you.
Recommended Format For Declaring Each Item:
For best results, we recommend the following pattern:
Brand – Product Description – Variants (size, color, fragrance, etc.)
Example: Nike – Running Shoes – Size 8, Black

And of course, ALWAYS the original price paid, without under-invoicing, because if the Federal Revenue Service requests content confirmation, you will need to send proof of payment consistent with the purchase receipts/emails. After the invoice is finalized, our team will start the dispatch process.
Paid orders are prepared daily. The Invoice is only released after the box is ready, because before that we need to check item by item, organize, protect, and pack with care.

Our packing is detailed (standard "perfect packing"): each box takes, on average, from 25 minutes to 1 hour to be ready, depending on the size and type of product.

Therefore, the average time for Invoice release is 1 to 15 days. This period is an estimate and may vary according to the week's demand, being either shorter or longer.

Want To Skip The Line? (Priority Packing)
If you are in a hurry, we offer Priority Packing (US$ 50 per box): your box skips the line and goes into the next available shipment.

⚠️Important: Priority does not mean "it will fly tomorrow." It means it will certainly go in the next shipment, according to the shipping schedule.
Yes! All products registered in your Suite are available for selection, allowing you to choose when and what to send. Simply check the selection box next to each item to build your shipment. If your order exceeds 30kg, Braziliana automatically divides it into as many boxes as necessary.

Important: Purpose Of Forwarding And Quantities:
The forwarding service is intended for the import of new products for personal use. Therefore, it is important to be mindful of the quantities of identical or similar items to prevent customs from interpreting it as a resale attempt, which could result in retention, requirements, or even refusal of the shipment, according to the Federal Revenue Service's decision.

If you need to buy larger quantities, we can help divide the order into more than one box, keeping the shipment within the rules and reducing risks.

Shipping Limits (Brazil):
  • Maximum weight per box: 30 kg
  • Maximum dimensions: No side can exceed 1 meter and the sum of the 3 sides (length + width + height) cannot exceed 1.90 m
  • Maximum product value per box: US$ 2,999.99

As soon as the shipping label is generated, you will receive your tracking number by email and WhatsApp, along with tracking instructions. The tracking will also be available on your Braziliana dashboard.
  • Shipments to Brazil: Tracking is issued by the Brazilian Post Office (Correios) and must be followed on the official website correios.com.br. (Taxes are also paid through the Post Office website).
  • Shipments within the United States and to other countries: Tracking is issued by UPS and must be followed at ups.com.
After payment, the order enters the preparation and packing process. Therefore, cancellation or changes may depend on the stage your box is in.

Changes After Payment:
If you wish to cancel to add more items, divide into multiple boxes, or make any changes after the order has already been packed (or when the box is already ready and included in the shipment), a handling fee of US$ 100 per order/box will be charged.

If your order has not yet been packed, it can be canceled without any additional charge. Simply contact our customer service and they will help you.

This fee is necessary because in these cases we need to: remove the box from the shipment, reopen, re-check, repack, and re-process the documentation/steps already performed, in addition to the cost of labor and materials.
